Hello there! My name is Stephanie Cobb and I am the creator of Basket Case. I am Texas born and raised and have lived in the Fort Worth area for over 17 years.  I am a wife, mother to two beautiful daughters and former educator.   I enjoy being creative and I love gift giving.  I had this idea about a year ago when one of my dearest friends had her daughter’s wedding coming up.  My friend has the unfortunate situation of walking many milestones of her children's lives without  her husband and son at her side.  I know the wedding is about the bride, however I felt like my friend needed to know that she was seen, supported and loved during this celebration.  The best way I could express that support and love was with a gift basket full of items tailored to her. It was my way of saying I see you and all that you have done as the mother of the bride.  Her basket was a hit among the family and bridal party.  

I come from a family of four girls,  mother to two daughters, nieces, nephews and close friends who have had weddings. I have had my fair share of planning and helping with weddings and supporting the mother of the bride and mother of the groom.  As wonderful of a time as it is to celebrate and unite two families together and  a new journey for the bride and groom, I have seen first hand how mother’s sacrifice a lot to make sure their child has the most amazing wedding day.  When the mother receives a wedding basket from their bride or groom, it is a way to express how much they appreciate the moms for all their hard work and sacrifice.
